• NEW THINGS •
So at the start of the week I said there'd be some news on the direction of Hooked! So here goes...!
I started Hooked almost a year ago. It all happened pretty quickly, I was asked to do a stall at a Craft Fair by one of my good friends, and a few other people asked me to make them things.. this all happened within the space of a week or two! I'd thought about doing it before, but never seriously, if I was to do it it would simply be to fund a hobby! And one of my favourite things to do is to make things for other people, and so Hooked was a perfect way to allow me that.
So, since then then my little adventure took off (which was amazing to see!) but the means of selling my work just hasn't been right, and hasn't sit well with me. You see, Etsy is perfect for people who can sell what they make when the products they're selling can be sold quickly. But for me, who works 30 hours a week and has a busy life outside work too, it wasn't that simple!
So, my new thing? From now on I won't be selling via Etsy, but by commissions over Instagram (Direct Message) or through email - [email protected]
My real love is simply making things. So if you want anything made, then let me know and we can talk about it! From now on I'll be using my Instagram to showcase my work, current projects and ideas, and just all things knit and crochet!
