Established in 1991 and situated in an attic studio on the trendy Lisburn Road in Belfast, Alison-Jayne Couture specializes in the creation of one-off, handmade, high quality bridal, evening and theatrical styled gowns. She also takes commissions for Christening robes and Holy Communion Dresses. The design flair behind the company is Alison-Jayne Matthews whose experience in both historical costum

e and the couture industry, coupled with her fascination of historical design, provide the inspiration for her sumptuous gowns, which have constantly attracted a clientele both nationally and internationally. Alison's previous work experience has included being couture assistant to Royal Wedding Dress designer David Emanuel in Knightsbridge, London. Alison-Jayne has over 20 years experience in couture dress designing and each gown is designed, made to measure and is exclusive to the client.
