This is a gorgeous vintage retro MCM 1965 Midwinter Madeira coffee set by Nicholas Jenkins. The set comprises a coffee pot and lid, a sugar bowl, a milk jug and six cups and saucers.

The sort is in generally very good condition. For the sake of completeness, note that there is crazing to the handle and body of one cup (see photo), very slight crazing to two saucers, and that one cup has an imperfection in the pattern (caused by a firing fault rather than damage we think - see photo). None of this detracts from the beauty or utility of the set.

Set of four lovely white and blue vintage French enamel kitchen storage jars. The jars are labelled 'cafe', 'the', 'poivre' and 'pates' (coffee, tea, pepper and pasta). They were sourced in lovely Mirepoix in the South-west of France, and are each in very good vintage condition. As per the fifth photograph, the smallest of the pots - poivre - has a very small hole worn through the enamel to the base.
