Been busy - but not all sewing!! Painting a ridiculous amount of trellis, building & painting decking & hosting a Eurovision party which of course involved making costumes - I'm never making another pair of sequinned shorts again!!! My very talented sister also made her costume - her star hat is amazing! Xx

Seampunk will be back with gusto in the new year - as for so many, 2021 didn't exactly go to plan - but hopefully next year I'll be back to making & creating.......so watch this space!!

Well...... now my family have finally been able to celebrate Christmas 2, I can post some more photos without spoiling the surprise! The corset was commissioned based on one I made last year but the rest is just for fun! 😉

Love this steampunk waistcoat but need it to fit my boys so thought I'd see if I could adjust the pattern.....excuse the brown colour but I think its worked? Using some of my stash to make the real ones - the red velvet is leftovers from our wedding!😳😁

The overlocker is out of the box! 😬 It was all going so well, lovely fine rolled hems & ruffles (I really don't like making those by hand!) - then I had to go & change the thread! Hoping sleep & daylight will help me work it out 🤞 @ Berkeley, Gloucestershire

Cleaning time! I've been putting this off as I was worried I might no be able to put it back together again - it definitely needed it! Ready for a new project? Or should I be brave & try to figure out my new overlocker......?! 🤔

Back to the old school - love my electric machine but there are some things my circa 1880 hand machine just does better! Thus is my first corset with a proper metal busk too - my youngest calls it my Medusa corset - nice! @ Berkeley, Gloucestershire
