I’m so sleep deprived I opened my Etsy shop at the weekend and in my mind I posted on here and set a sale up for the weekend on Etsy… then I looked at my orders from over the weekend this morning and realised I didn’t do any of that! 🤦🏻‍♀️ What a wally! 💜 Every so often I need to close, I simply can’t juggle it all! Business wise it’s terrible timing, but I need to give my children the time and attention next week without the distraction of sewing orders. 🪡🧵 The truth is I’ve been rationing my pale mint felt for months!! There’s been supply issues and despite ordering other felt that looked the same it just wasn’t, and I won’t ever compromise on quality so when posted they’d had their delivery come in I was ordering there at 6 in the morning placing my order to get my hands on more rolls of beautiful felt!! 🪡🧵

✂️ Behind the scenes… today I’ve been working on making a batch of blank Teachers Bookmarks. I’m slowly getting there! I’ve also had a lift engineer out for the 3rd time in the last few weeks, 🤯 and helped my middle child revise for her A levels. Let me tell you having children close together is amazing, but having them 1 school year apart means that at some point you’ll do GCSEs, GCSEs, A levels, A levels… this is year 4 in a row of having a child doing exams and I feel at this point I could have a few more GCSEs and A levels to my name!! 📚 Anyone else in exam season?!

🪡🧵 The one thing I’ll NEVER compromise on is quality… you’ll only see me make things with high quality felt and cotton, I’ve bought cheaper felt over the years and it sits in my daughters craft draw unused… she pinches a bit of this felt when she makes something! To buy handmade you’re paying for something unique, special, precious, it’ll always be made with the best materials. 💜
