L O N G T I M E - I’ve been doing this for a long time, designing, building, creating, making something out of nothing, honing, prevalating best I know how. From art school, degree, building and travelling, back to designing, consulting, teaching, but this studio has seen me good. It’s held me in its cocoon. It holds my treasures, old bikes, hides, vintage clothes, records, memories, gold leaf, paints, piles of paper sketches, blue tack on the walls of the dreams I made to reality, photographs, precious books. It also holds the scent of dust, old canvas tents, leather, glue, coffee, perfume bottles. I’m posing the question to myself of what environment internal & external has produced my best work? What is the true value of the 30 years of creative processing I have done? Where do I stand now with it, what vibe & work will emerge. For those of you who haven’t received a belt when you ordered x 1 am sorry. I’ve taken a sabbatical from the studio - ( although I have had a few moments in it of late but not long enough to create - I will DM you - please don’t make it public.
