Happy February and Imbolc to everyone, I finished this sweet snowdrop heart hair clip today, hand embroidered to my own design on dark green wool felt. As Imbolc celebrates the first signs of spring it felt appropriate as snowdrops are often the first flowers to appear after winter.

My 2025 has bought lots of memorable moments and big changes. Spring bought a new job which has had its challenges but also its rewards.

While Summer was filled with memorable moments enjoyed with friends and in my own company. I saw some brilliant and inspiring exhibitions, amazing musicals in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Hadestown and Hamilton. I performed onstage myself too.
Also saw some incredible live music. Elephant Sessions at Sidmouth Folk Festival was awesome

I met up with family and friends not seen for a while and shared many wonderful memories.

Autumn bought more worrying times for my loved ones but we came out the other side.

The last month of so has been a whirlwind with with craft fair season and I have enjoyed creating lots of new pieces this year and doing afew new fairs. I have mainly developed new brooches and the addition of tops made from vintage scarfs, defo going to make more of those in 2026!

Lastly Christmas has bought time spent with previous loved ones and blossoming new connections.

I wonder what 2026 will bring, a milestone birthday for me and I’m sure some fabulous times and experiences shared with my favourite people.

Happy Winter Solstice, I spent afew hours at lovely enjoying the winter colours of the gardens and some of the sculptures. It was a peaceful reflective time spent on this the shortest day of the year. ❄️

I will be the this weekend for the Magic of Christmas Fair. I will be bringing a lovely selection of brooches, berets, scrunchies. Bags and afew silk tops made from vintage silk scarves. While will be bringing her beautiful prints, handprinted scarves and cards. Hope to see some of you there to and this Christmas.

All set up at the Appledore Vintage and Upcycled market today. Showcasing my selection of tops made from vintage silk scarves, headbands and scrunchies from vintage fabrics and hand embroidered and felted berets and brooches.

We are all ready to go in the Torrington Community Centre for the Christmas market.

With lots of beautiful handprinted botanical scarves and artwork by Leaf and Lace and I have bought a selection of brooches, headbands, scrunchies, bags and berets.

Already and setup for . There is loads to see with workshops and talks by local artists, live music and lots of beautiful stalls selling lovely things. Including me and with our colourful selection of handprinted artwork, accessories, embroidery and upcycled silk scarf tops. Do come along and see for yourselves

I have been busy making a new series of scrunchies ready for next weekend.

All crafted from vintage and remnant fabrics including some vintage 1970s Liberty prints, aswell as cord and velvet, I really wanted to create some early autumn combinations that will work as the perfect accessory to new season outfit.

We are ready for the Appledore Vintage and Upcycled Market in their church hall today from 1pm -5pm. We’ve got a great selection of accessories made from vintage fabrics, Upcycled tops made from silk scarves, a curated selection of vintage style clothes and even unique prints and artwork! If you love vintage clothes and accessories this is the place to be today, there are some fabulous sellers showcasing their collections from across the Southwest. Looking forward to seeing some of you later.
