An alteration that took me two days.

Shortening sleeves on a suit jacket has never been my favourite thing—but a job’s a job.
It usually takes me two hours, but with the heat yesterday, it dragged into two whole days.

Anyway, I completed it just in time for my customer's wedding this weekend. My customer was really pleased with it, and I’m pleased too (even if it was a time-consuming one).
I think I learnt a thing or two from it. Let’s see if I can get back to two hours next time...

I’ve got three more jackets due for pickup next Tuesday. Wish me luck!

This shop almost didn’t survive.

You might know I had to close the shop for a while - first to take care of a family member who was sick, and then because I couldn't find any help. It wasn't easy, but I'm so happy to be back!

My family member is now comfortable in a nursing home, and I finally found a fantastic sewing professional to work with me. We've been open again for a few weeks now with our regular hours:

Monday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: ̣10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

I can't thank you enough - all my customers and friends. It's good to be back doing what I love. Come see us soon!
