Business Closure Announcement

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the upcoming closure of Pram and Toy Centre.

Established in 1928, our family-run business has proudly served generations of families. Over the decades, we have cherished being part of so many special moments — helping parents choose their first pram, seeing children’s excitement over new toys, and welcoming loyal customers who returned with children and even grandchildren of their own.

This shop has always meant far more to us than a business. It has been our family’s life, history, and passion for nearly a century. Making the decision to close has been incredibly difficult.

We are deeply grateful to every customer who has supported us over the years. Thank you for your loyalty, trust, and kindness — it has truly meant everything to us.

Closing Details

We do not yet have a confirmed closing date, as we will remain online until all remaining stock is sold and existing commitments are fulfilled.

• Ex-display items will be listed on our page & website
• All purchases must be paid in full (no payment plans or reservations)
• Collections can be arranged at the shop by appointment or alternatively if you see something on our website and you live local, you can pay cash on delivery.

For customers currently on a payment plan:
Your order will still be fulfilled as agreed. We will not close until all payment plans have been completed.

All product warranties remain valid, and our brand partners have been informed of our closure.

We would like to wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We will be taking a short break over the festive period to spend time with our families. During this time, responses to messages and emails may be delayed. Normal communication and order dispatch will resume from Monday, 29 December.

This year marked a significant change for our business—one that was unexpected, but ultimately necessary. Since making this decision, we have seen meaningful growth, and your continued support has truly made a difference. We are sincerely grateful to each and every one of you.

Looking ahead to 2026, our goal is to continue with our mobile showroom, which has been extremely well received. What began as a three-month trial quickly proved successful. Despite a reduction in footfall at the physical shop, the mobile showroom exceeded our expectations, leading us to make it a permanent part of our business. Our shop will remain open for collection and appointments only.

Once again, from both my dad and myself, thank you for your ongoing support. We wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year 🎄🎅❤️
