✨ 3 MONTH STUDIO SUB LET ✨

I will be subletting my Hamilton Square artists studio from 18th of January up until the end of April as I’m going travelling! (happy to move slightly on dates as long as I know In advance)
My studio space is located within and features an original bank vault which can be hired for exhibitions/events. The building is also home to .studios.gallery as well as several independent creatives.

Features:

Self-contained studio space with code locked door

Shared kitchen area with fridge, microwave, kettle

Amazing location 30 second walk from Hamilton square train station

Electric Heater in studio keeps it nice and cosy

Access to Outdoor space

Wi-fi

Window for natural light, overhead lighting and two angle poise lamps

More details:

I would prefer to sublet my studio at a reduced rate whilst using the space to store my things (this is what I have done previously as the jewellery bench is a pain to move, I will cover a small area with my belongings in a dust sheet and there is still plenty of space left for you to use) hoping for £150 per month/ £37.50 per week.

Alternatively I could remove everything from the studio space, however I would want the full rent amount of £185 per month as it would involve getting a van and finding storage space for my belongings.

I have a couple of trestle tables and chairs that I’d be happy to leave out for use if it’s helpful!

This would be the perfect opportunity if you are debating getting a studio space but want to test it out before committing to anything. Or if you have a specific / short-term project you want to work on for a few months.

Ideally I am looking for someone I know or friends of friends to sub-let as I want to be able to trust that the space will be looked after in my absence, otherwise I would require references.

✨ FESTIVE OPEN STUDIO ✨

This Friday 28th 6-9pm!

Come and take a look inside my jewellery studio inside 1 Hamilton Square. I’ll have jewels for you to shop on the night (it’s the perfect opportunity to try a piece on if you’ve got something on your wish list) and maybe grab a gift for a special someone, yourself included!

There will be mince pies and mulled wine, and loads of other creatives in the building will be opening up their studio doors too, it’s not one to be missed. There’ll be troves of unique goodies on offer & a chance to meet the makers. Don’t forget to shop small at this time of year and support your local artists :)

If you’ve ever wanted to design your own jewellery, love learning new crafts, enjoy mindful making or simply want to try something different then this one’s for you.

During the workshop we will carve a ‘master’ ring in wax (this is a model that will be duplicated in metal). After the workshop your ring will be cast into 100% recycled sterling silver and hand-finished in my studio in Birkenhead, in time for Christmas!

Our workshops are really good value for money. A mass-produced sterling silver ring at H.Samuel can cost you well over £100. Our jewellery is made slowly and ethically using recycled metals AND you get to learn new skills AND make it yourself to your own design with the support of a local artist/maker! So really it’s Win, win win ✨

A couple of years ago I hosted a wax carving workshop at Nettle’s original Birkenhead location and I’m so excited to be back here again at their gorgeous new location in Port Sunlight! Have a scroll through this post to see the jewels that participants made last time round.

I have a workshop coming up in a couple of weeks time at Nettle Cafe in Port Sunlight, the ultimate cosy spot for a winter evening craft!

During the workshop you will learn wax carving techniques to create your own, unique ring. After the workshop the wax models will be cast into recycled sterling silver and hand finished in my Birkenhead studio, ready in time for Christmas!

This is my only workshop this year, so if you’ve ever wanted to make your own jewellery this is the perfect opportunity to do so. The rings created in my workshops will last a lifetime if looked after, so it’s really good value for money.

A new batch of Scrap Studs have been dropped off at

Each of these earrings is totally unique and crafted from my silver offcuts leftover from the making process of other products. As the silver I use is already recycled, these pieces are effectively twice recycled, making them super sustainable!

They’re perfect for stacking, mixing and matching, and come in either a single or double shard option, meaning the styling possibilities are endless ✨
