We are excited to be holding a mini clothes swap on Wednesday at on York Road in King's Heath - part of Growing Up Green Kings Heath !

Bring up to 10 items up to age 10.

The swap is only as good as the items brought in so bring a range of sizes if you can!

Items need to be in good condition, clean with no holes or missing bits etc.

Drop them off at the start of the event, then at the interval, have a browse.

You can swap items during the interval, and also at the end if there are any left.

Anything left over at the end will be donated to local charities.

We are very proud to be supporting local charity at the clothes swap. We'll be offering them the clothes leftover at the end of the swap to use in their packages for young families in need across south Birmingham.

Welcome to the Kings Heath Clothes Collective! The Collective – a brand new initiative – aims to make parenting more sustainable by bringing the community together through a series of local events.

We – founders Sally and Maria – have seen through our own children the crazy amount of clothes it is all too easy to buy in the first few years of life, and want to do our bit to help fight clothes waste. We’ll do this by giving people access to cheap, good quality, pre-loved kids and baby clothes.

So on Saturday 15th January 2022 at Fletcher’s Bar, York Road, Kings Heath, we are hosting our inaugural clothes swap event for baby and children's clothes. Come by between 10.30am and 1.30pm with up to 20 items and see what goodies you can find.

Between now and then bear us in mind when having a pre-Christmas clear out, or have any unwanted Christmas presents - bring them along on the 15th.
