As many of you know our business is partnered with SIFAfireside homeless and vulnerable persons charity. Yesterday we were invited to visit their drop in center to see exactly how your donations, made through the sales of our tees, are used.

After receiving a tour of their facilities, We can honestly say that we are so happy to be supporting this charity and the valuable service they offer to some of Birminghams most vulnerable citizens.

Not only do they provide hot meals, food parcels and wash facilities for up to 150 people per day, they offer many other valuable services. These include -

- A well equipped clinic, where clients have access to health care including doctors, podiatrists, dentists and even a vet to look after the many pets that pass through their doors!

- A clothes store, from which clothing of all shapes and sizes is distributed to their clients when needed.

- An IT suite, Where clients can access the Internet to aid them in searching for jobs or completing forms for housing/accommodation.

- One on one meeting rooms, giving space for clients to have private conversations with staff, mental health workers or anybody they need to speak with.

- An activity room, Full of books, games and other passtimes that have proved invaluable during these times of Covid and isolation.

The centre is also the base for the ASH (adult support hub). This service concentrates on preventing people slipping in to homelessness by offering specialist advice on money and welfare benefits, housing, health and wellbeing services, alongside pathways to employment and training.

All these amazing services are managed by a friendly team of employees and 75 selfless volunteers. We applaud them and their efforts against fighting homelessness in our city.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Eppie, Hannah and Liv for making me feel so welcome during my time at SIFAfireside. Also I would like to say a big thank you to anybody that has supported us so far by purchasing a tee and a massive thank you to the artists, photographers and friends of GraffiTeesUK who have kindly donated their fees and time to this very noble cause. Absolute legends 👏
