✨ Prom Dress Alteration Transformation ✨
This beautiful gold glittering prom gown came to me for a custom fit adjustment and hem alteration to ensure it was perfect for its special night.
For this alteration, I:
✔️ Shortened the gown to the correct length
✔️ Tightened the bodice for a more secure and flattering fit
✔️ Removed the centre-back zip from the bodice
✔️ Carefully removed and preserved crystals surrounding the zip area
✔️ Repositioned and replaced the zip to achieve the required fit adjustment
✔️ Reapplied the crystals to restore the gown's original sparkle and finish
Alterations like these often involve much more than simply taking in a seam. Careful planning, precision sewing, and attention to detail are essential when working with embellished garments to maintain the dress's original design while achieving the perfect fit.
