A Very Happy New Year to you all. It has been a while since my last post. But a new crafting year beckons and lots of ideas to try out.
I have spent the Christmas period spending time with my family and new granddaughter who is developing into quite a character! Also I have been playing around with a different crotchet stitch . It goes by a few names, but the most popular ones seem to be 'granite' stitch or 'moss' stitch.
I have ended up with a pile of yarn oddments so I experimented with the stitch and yarn and hey presto I have made a child's scarf and some bookmarks.
Then just as I was starting to write this post, a lovely chap from Royal mail delivered a box of goodies from the Wool Warehouse. My yarn for the Attic24 CAL and yarn for the big kids scarf. Oh joy oh bliss!
I will be posting piccies of my projects over the next few weeks.

I finally finished joining all 108 squares yesterday when it was wet and cold . It certainly cheered me up when looking at the finished article. Now to start on the border. It should be at Balsall Common Country Market in about 2 weeks time. £50+

Hello sewing machine! About to start on the pink baby quilt for Beryl and Jim's new granddaughter. I trapped my finger in a go-pak table yesterday, so it's quite bruised, hence the finger bandage. What's quite worrying was that we couldn't find the first aid kit or accident report book.
