10K on Hogmanay 2023 for LoveOliver today though pushing the buggy up and down the hill in the snow and carrying Keira made it feel like a lot more than 10k! Thanks to everyone for the donations and a massive thanks to Love Oliver for the help and support this year X

This Hogmanay I’ll be taking part in Love Oliver’s 10k for Hogmanay - LoveOliver has helped us so much this year, on top of funding research they provide invaluable support to families and young people who have a cancer diagnosis.
They provide meals for parents while their kids are in hospital, supermarket vouchers and grants. They also run a hub right next to the hospital which is a safe space for patients and their families to go for a change of scene, play, hot meal etc.
Jennifer and her team offer support and understanding that sadly can only be found through personal experience of childhood cancer.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything, certainly not anything this personal. In February this year our beautiful daughter Keira was diagnosed with leukaemia it’s been a tough year and we still have a long road of treatment ahead of us. She’s started her maintenance chemo and to mark her getting this far with such amazing bravery, we’re taking on Young Lives vs Cancer Challenge 80 to raise funds and awareness for this amazing charity who have supported us so much on our journey so far. Keira and I have already walked 80 miles but are continuing for the rest of the month to try and raise as much as we can. ❤️🎗️

Jen Brodie] have their fabulous furniture fair this weekend - loads of beautiful handcrafted and vintage furniture as well as local art and gifts and lots of lovely wood all set up in their beautiful showroom! There is a selection from some of our lovely artists and makers including these cushions I made 😊 well worth a visit!

Today our wee shop turned 1! what a first year we’ve had, it felt pretty special being able to raise a glass this evening with our artists and makers! A huge thank you for everyone’s support this year and to the best gal for making it all possible and such fun along the way
