This one feels a little emotional to write 🤍

Mama’s Hatch has been such a huge part of my life for years. It’s grown with me, changed with me, and been there through so many different chapters of motherhood.

But right now, my babies need more of me — and I want to give them that.

So I’ve made the decision to slow Mama’s Hatch down and simplify it. Going forward, I’ll be focusing mainly on nursery prints and personalised wall art — the lovely, simple side of the business that I can work around family life.

I’ll be saying goodbye to a lot of other products and clearing out a huge amount of stock and supplies as I turn my work room into a much smaller, calmer little office.

I’m not closing Mama’s Hatch. I’m just choosing a version of it that lets me be more present at home while my girls are still little.

There will be time to grow again one day. But for now, I don’t want to look back and feel like I spent these years constantly working when I could have been soaking them up.

Thank you to everyone who has ordered from me, shared my work, recommended me and supported Mama’s Hatch through every chapter. I’m so grateful you’ve been part of it.

This isn’t the end. Just a softer, slower chapter. 🤍

🤍 World Breastfeeding Week 🤍

Breastfeeding is often described as “natural”… but that doesn’t always mean it’s easy.

It’s the sleepless nights, the cluster feeding, the sore ni***es, the worries about supply, the tears, the perseverance, the cuddles, the comfort, and the moments where you wonder if you’re doing enough.

Today also marks 7 weeks of breastfeeding my third little baba, and while it’s been such a special journey, it’s also reminded me just how much strength, patience and determination breastfeeding can take.

This week isn’t about saying one way of feeding is better than another.

It’s about recognising and supporting those who are on a breastfeeding journey because every mum deserves encouragement, kindness and understanding.

Whether you’ve breastfed for two days, two weeks, two years, exclusively pumped, combination fed, or switched to formula when that was the right decision for you and your baby, you are an amazing mum.

Fed is always best.
Every baby deserves to be loved, nourished and cared for, and every mum deserves support without judgement.

To every parent feeding their baby with love—you’re doing an incredible job. 🤍
