Our next Morsbag making session is nearly here!
We meet on the first Thursday or Friday of the month (check the date online!) from 10–1 to whip up reusable totes from fabric that would otherwise head to landfill.

Back to school season is in full swing! Not sure if summer went fast or slow - how did you find it? 🍎

Whether back to school means you are now child-free during the day for some great daytime classes (like the quilt blocks on the 10th and 24th of September), or it has just put you in the mood to get learning again, Stitching Kitchen is your place! 🎓

If it were me, I would be booking onto Rag Rug (19th) and learning to fit trousers with Emma Smith (12th) to try a fun craft and hone my dressmaking skills this month - balanced curriculum!

There's something so good about a colourful quilt - can't beat it!

There were some absolutely gorgeous rainbowy ones at festival of quilts this year. Which was the best you saw, if you went?

We have a variety of quilt block workshops on offer this season, and the log cabin (in the picture) or courthouse steps (behind the text) are a great starting point for starting with patchwork quilting.

You will learn:
✂️ Accurately cut your fabric strips
✂️ Using a 1/4 inch foot to piece on your sewing machine
✂️ Squaring up the blocks

Does anybody fancy a FREE trip to the Knit & Stitch Shows this autumn?

We’ve got 3 pairs of tickets to give away for London and 3 pairs for Harrogate, and we're going to be giving them away next week!

Handing over to Emma to explain what you'll be doing at next week's class... 🎤🎤

Learn your first cable project with Emma, using chunky yarn and the Mode at Rowan Thorpeness Hat pattern. Perfect timing for a fabulous winter hat for a gift or a treat for yourself!

She will support you while you get to grips with holding those stitches and then picking them up again, creating that fabulous twisting cable pattern.

All materials included, plus tea and homemade cake while you knit ☕🍰
