Looking at natural paints for a project and have just come across this brand. Has anyone tried this or used any other sustainable brands?

One of my sisters suggested that as Wild have gone over to “the dark side” of parent companies that Fussy would fit in the same container. I saw it on special offer at Sainsbury’s so thought I’d give it a go.

I had trouble getting it to fit the Wild container to start with. Second issue was I don’t find it as effective as Wild. 3rd issue it lasts nowhere near as long. Well it didn’t for me. So I’m on the hunt for the next more sustainable option to try. Needs to be cost effective and to survive a long day of physical work!

Any suggestions gratefully received and I’ll review it on here. 😊

For cleaning limescaled shower screens use bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar on a damp shower screen. Leave for a few minutes then rinse off and squeegee. Environmentally friendly foaming cleaner and very cheap shower cleaning.

If you are struggling to decide between laundry sheets and having no fresh fragrance and laundry liquid why not try Minml. It only has 4 ingredients, washing smells fresh, I have eczema prone skin and none of their fragrances cause an outbreak.

I use Minml Laundry Liquid, Washing Up Liquid, Sorrento Lemon Vinegar (for general cleaning inckyding after shower screen spray) and Oxi bleach from Arborfil.

I have an Eco Egg but tend to take that on holiday as it packs easily taking up very little space, but for normal home use I but 5 litre refill bottles with a pump. It costs no more than the big brands (often less in fact) and I know it contains no harmful toxins.

Although I have an issue with their new parent company’s credentials the Wild refillable lip balms and deodorants are by far the best refill containers of any other sustainable beauty brands I’ve found to date. This is the new refillable deodorant from Kin Kind. I’ve been using it for over a month now. It costs more than Wild but the parent company allowed customers to buy shares in them rather than selling out to a big corporation like the creators of Wild did.

It definitely works. The sliding mechanism is novel. The refill is much thinner than Wild, but much easier to fit into the sleeve.

I highly recommend using Kin Kind Shampoo and Conditioners. I’ve been using them for a long time now.

However if you want a deodorant in a container that matches the values of the natural product this deodorant has that as it is just metal so completely recyclable.
