In punk, disruption was built through production methods: photocopy distortion, collage, ransom-note lettering, misregistration, abrasive colour.

This cloth applies the same logic through construction.

A 450g twill woven from 100% RWS responsibly sourced wool is produced at full scale, with yarn dyed within The SIL Group at FTS Dyers Ltd — including a one-off dayglo pink that cuts through the structure with the same deliberate disruption seen in Jamie Reid’s visual language.

Disruption here is not referenced. It is built into the cloth itself.

1970s punk did not begin with fabric — it began with systems under pressure.

Westwood, McLaren and Jamie Reid didn’t reject structure; they attacked it — grids torn apart, typography cut and reassembled, hierarchy deliberately broken.

Warping is the opposite state. Absolute order. Yarn aligned end by end, tension controlled, repetition enforced.

Before anything is disrupted, it must exist in full control.
