We are super happy to be dropping new designs into the mix! Designed and printed at home on the North Devon coast.

A fresh new chapter of our journey has begun!! Life is never perfectly scripted & just like any venture rarely do things go exactly to plan, there’s bumps and twists on the road..and a few really big potholes ready to detach your wheel and momentarily spoil the fun......

These challenges have been a blessing in disguise. We’ve spent time rethinking and replaced that wheel, in fact we’ve replaced all of them. A whole new set of freshies. We are doing it our way.

Threadfin is now created, designed and printed by us in North Devon.

We continue to make all our garments from 100% recycled yarns otherwise destined for landfill and our mission is even stronger to challenge ourselves & improve with learnings on the journey.

🔥 The Bank Job 🔥

In 1988 brothers Angus & Ross Thomson founded Saltrock. The company started in a garage with the brothers using whatever they could get their hands on to build a print system in order to start producing their first tee shirt range.

The printed tees needed to have the ink cured & dried therefore fixing the printed graphic and ready for sale.
The bank safe served as the perfect curing unit .. or oven 😳
They converted the safe into a fully functioning curing unit using oven elements, a disused thermostat and tin foil for lining ⚡️

The old Bank Safe cured thousands of teeshirts, many are still being worn today.
