Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that uses tiny micro-needles to deposit pigment into the scalp, creating the look of real hair follicles. It’s sometimes called a “hair tattoo,” but it’s much more detailed and refined.
What SMP Can Do
• Create the look of a full shaved head
• Add density to thinning hair so the scalp looks less visible
• Camouflage bald spots, scars, or hair transplant scars
• Restore a younger, sharper hairline
What It Looks Like
• Very natural – when done properly, the dots mimic tiny follicles.
• Colour-matched to your natural hair tone.
• Custom hairline styles (soft, natural, sharp, broken, etc.)
Does It Hurt?
Mild to moderate discomfort; most people tolerate it well.
How Long Does It Last?
• Typically 3–5 years before a touch-up is needed.
How Many Sessions?
Usually 2–3 sessions, spaced about 1 week apart.
Is SMP Good for You?
Great for:
• Men or women with thinning hair
• Complete baldness
• Patchy hair loss (alopecia)
