Marvelous Upcycle I love Marvel & DC Comics and upcycling, so I decided to combined them to create one-off pieces! I breath a new life into items that have been forgotten.

Things needing TLC… some things needing a little bit more.

Hiya Everyone, we hope you are okay and starting to get back to an almost normal life.

This very old Mill Cart came out of a mill that unfortunately was closing down in Ossett . It had holes a broken base, rust. You name it the cart had it!

We started by patching up the holes and cracks on the top section. We did this with an old newspaper and thin cardboard sections to strengthen it. The paper was put on using PVA Glue that had not been diluted.

We then put made a new base to replace the badly damaged one. As we had replaced the base we thought adding some rather large pump up wheels!

The wood had a light sanding down and then waxed. The metal was cleaned up to help it stand out more. We then varnished the outer sections , trying our best to not delete the sections that had chalk writing on them.

This could be a mobile Log Store?
Toy storage in your lounge/ kitchen?

We know we keep saying it looks stunning! But this is no exception! The large wheels make it a more agile cart. Love it!’ Will look amazing wherever it ends up!

Wanting an Industrial theme or Steampunk this is it!’

A little bit about me to hopefully give you more of an understanding of how I tick. I was medically retired recently after an injury at work that occurred almost 7 years ago. I loved the job , but unfortunately my injury meant I could no longer do my job. I can only do a maximum of 2 hours of work a day due to being in chronic pain. 24/7. This blows my mind , as before this I used to work hard and play hard. I would hit the Gym, run, mountain bike, gym classes , walking with my wife and daughter and friends. Now I can no longer do anything I used to love. No physical exercise.

So I started buying rejected and discarded items that some people felt no longer fit into their life and up cycling them to sell . I love Marvel and Dc and breathing life into Vintage, Antique and Modern items. If you look at my shop on Etsy which is linked and see something you like please drop me a message. I’m sure I can sort out a bit of a discount for your first order. If you are wanting something that isn’t advertised again drop me a line. I got hold of a plain black trolley and felt it would make a great drinks trolley/Bar. I thought I’d try something different and add some Marvel!! 😂 I know I always add Marvel! 😂 But it makes something that was plain Pop!!
Imagine this in your lounge, dining room with your favourite bottles of Gin, Whiskey, Vodka and a couple of glasses waiting to be filled with your favourite tipple. Enjoy your day! But it could be more enjoyable with a drink off your drinks trolley 🍸🍷🥡🥤

Hi,
I started with two Vintage School Chairs and gave them a good clean. I then lightly sanded the areas I intended to decoupage the Steam punk art work. After adding the art work to the seating area and the back of the seat I added copper piping and a dial to one of the Chairs and copper piping and a dial and an old tap . Before they are sent to the buyer they receive several coats of varnish. These two chairs can be used by adults and would look great in anyone's house , business ! Hi Everyone , thank you for checking out my page! I wasn't going to mention anything about my Accident 7 years ago but I felt it only right to mention it so you knew me a little more and understood my passion when I am able to work on the items I recycle ! I am only able to work for 2 hours at the most per day due to the chronic pain I am in 24/7 . I was medically retired last year from a job I loved! I love working with my hands , letting my mind create a new life in the projects I work on.
I love to give the furniture and other items I work with a second chance . The items I work on are all one off's! You could say Statements pieces! No one item will ever be replicated .
