To make it look easy, is an art in itself 🙌

People often say “your clothing is beautiful “ or “the artisans make it look so easy”.

But what you see is the finished piece. The moment where everything comes together.

What you don’t see are the hours of craftsmanship behind every piece.

The trial and error. The testing. The re-doing.
The moments where it doesn’t work.

The moment is finally comes together.

In artisan fashion, nothing is effortless.
It only looks that way because of the care, skill, and time poured into it long before this moment.

So when you choose handmade, you’re not just choosing something beautiful…

You’re choosing everything it took to get there. ✨

Choosing handmade artisan fashion may just be one of the most powerful forms of resistance we have. ✊🏼🙌

Why? 👇🏼

Take our new Kantha scarves. 🧣

This centuries-old craft, uses preloved saris that are layered and brought back to life through hundreds of tiny running stitches. Each piece a resistance against overconsumption and waste.

Handmade isn’t just different, it’s intentionally slow. It’s proudly defiant against a world where speed, deadlines and over production rule.

The rhythm of the weavers loom, the patience in every stitch, the quiet presence of human hands. Handcrafted clothing is unique, individual and makes a powerful and visual statement of your identity.
Big brands? They just want you conform by erasing your identity with mass produced, bland fashion.

Choosing handmade is quiet resistance—against waste, against speed and losing ourselves in the crowd.

What about you—do you have something in your wardrobe that feels rebellious?🥻

10 years in… and honestly? No one hands you this handbook. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There are highs and lows. Tricky decisions when your head says “wait”… but your heart says “go.”

It’s wearing all the hats, silencing self-doubt and celebrating wins by whispering “I did it”.

It’s looking in the mirror and realising your business has helped shape who you are.

If you’re building something with heart. which one hit home for you?

2026 isn’t about dressing louder. It’s about being true to yourself. Somewhere along the way we forgot. It’s time to remember. 🙌

Clothing that carries stories, not suffering generated by fast fashion deadlines or corporate greed.

Textures that feel intentional. No industrial machines. No toxic chemicals. Every stitch done by hand.

Slow made pieces with soul. Heritage skills passed down generations. No shortcuts. 🪡

Ethical. No greenwashing. Just natural fabrics crafted by artisans. 🧵Woven by hand. Upcycled with love.

There’s still time to find a thoughtful gift for that special someone 🎁

Some of the best gifts aren’t born from perfect planning - they’re found in quiet, honest moments that whisper … this is it.

Maybe you’ll choose a vintage sari silk scarf - touched by hands that have sewn a thousand stories.

Or a handwoven cotton kimono you’ll know they’ll love whilst drinking their morning coffee.

Perhaps you’ll choose one of our beautiful capes. Traditionally loomed. A piece that carries the memory of craftsmanship in every fibre.

These are the pieces they’ll wear, treasure and talk about. The pieces that make people whisper “where did she get that from”?

Sometimes you just have to do what your heart tells you. 🏍️ 💕

Usually I don’t go away at this time of the year. As a small business, it’s the run up to Christmas and I’m usually preparing for the gifting season. 🎁

But things have felt quite heavy lately.

What with some personal challenges and the dystopian reality that has unfolded in this world, It’s all got a bit too much. 🙆🏽‍♀️

It seems we now live in a world where injustice is normalised and justice is a secret we’re supposed to keep quiet about. A reality that’s hard to accept.

So the one thing that always keeps me sane is travel.

Travel is my first love. Through it, I started a business and because of it, I’ve discovered so much that I’ll forever be eternally grateful for. Its changed my perspective on life, opened my eyes and given me a sense of freedom I never had before. I always swore I’d never be a slave to a job again. Or to the system that keeps you running on a hamster wheel, only to tax you till you go.

In my previous 9-5 life, I forgot how to live and just moved from one day to another without any sense of purpose or adventure. Travel has taught me how to truly live. To be in the moment. To be present.

So here I am in Northern Thailand with my best friend (hubby)on the open road, wind in my hair and appreciating just being alive. 😊
I know I’m right where I need to be right now.

We’ve just moved from the mountains 🏔️ to the sea 🌊. Two things I know, no matter what, they’ll be right there to remind me there is much beauty to see.

I was trying to find an inspirational quote to sum up my thoughts but there’s nothing that really fits the bill. So I’ll just say this: Don’t forget to live.

👻 FAST FASHION’S HORROR SHOW 🎃

Think horror movies are scary? Look at what’s lurking in your wardrobe! 👚👖

🩸 1. Brands complicit in occupation— silence is their deadliest accessory.
🕸 2. Garment workers exploited — trapped in real-life nightmares.
🧟‍♀️ 3. Textile waste mountains — the clothes that won’t die.
🕯 4. Cultural theft — heritage stolen, resold as “boho chic.”
💀 5. Greenwashing spells — making you believe destruction is “eco.”

This Halloween, don’t fear ghosts —
fear greed.
🖤 Break the fast fashion curse. Choose conscience over consumption.

The struggle is real! 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

Running an ethical, handmade fashion business is equal parts heart, hustle and at times a headache 🤯

So tell me, fellow small biz owners, what’s on your betrayal list? 👀👇
