Come with me to the Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature exhibition at the V&A! 🐰

Beatrix Potter is not only one of my favourite children’s illustrators and authors, but a huge inspiration to my passions surrounding conservation and the natural world. 🌺

In fact, when she died, Beatrix left 4000 acres of her own land which included 15 farms to the National Trust 🍃

Her legacy not only lives on in her books and illustrations, but has also ensured the survival of the Lakeland landscape she loved so much 🌳

The exhibition is on until Jan, so defo be sure to check it out, it was magical 🥰✨

It’s world LION day! 🦁

So what better day is there to share with you all the drawing process of crowd fave, Lance the Lion! ✍🏻

In order to celebrate these beautiful cats, check out these paw-fect facts 👇🏻

🦁 Lion cubs actually start off spotty! (Seriously look it up and thank me later 🥹)
🦁 Lions can weigh up to 30 stone!🏋🏻‍♀️
🦁 Lions are the only cats which ROAR together! 🥰

🐾 Sadly there are only 23,000-39,000 lions estimated to be left in the wild 😔

💫 My latest commission 💫

✍🏻 I was asked by the lovely Tina a few months ago to create this bespoke guest book for their friends, Andrew & Steve, who got married last week!

✍🏻 The design is made up of various different motifs, details, places and symbols which both summarise the couple and the friendship Tina and her family has with them. (Including hidden words in and amongst the foliage!) 🍃

✍🏻 I always love doing wedding stationary for my clients as it feels so special to be able to create something unique to the happy couple!
