Patches are a serious thing to apply, people who needs them on their clothes are very particular about them. They need to be precisely positioned, straight to the millimetre and tidy stitches mostly invisible where possible and I take pride when I'm given a full job to do. Obviously the customer instructs me where to position them but then I take care of the rest. This man was soo pleased with my work that paid me extra for looking after him.
Makes me happy to do my job and to do it right 👍

This woman, probably in her 40’s thought that her childhood's Teddy was gone for good until a few weeks ago she decided to clean the loft. Unfortunately the poor Teddy wasn't looking nice and shining any more so she decided to bring it to me and get it back into shape 🧸.

Another interesting and exciting part of what I do for work in my sewing room is upholstery.
I was given a job to re-upholster a full boat at the Brighton marina. The work included replacing all the curtains and sofa covers for each room and then the new covers for the outdoor bench which now looks very beautiful.
I'm very pleased with the outcome of this job, it all looks amazingly fresh and renewed and my customer is very happy too 😊
