Antique lace "Frou-Frou" detachable tie collar. 🖤
This has been in my collection for a while, and I’ve loved it from the moment I first saw it. I love the delicate beauty with a slightly wild, rebellious edge—it’s always given me major Tim Burton/Helena Bonham Carter vibes. It has become a bit of a muse in the sewing room recently, and I have taken some of the techniques and design elements and adapted them into a limited collection of new garments for my next stock drop!

After a lot of hard work and a fair amount of chaos, repairing, repainting, and completely rearranging the inside of the showroom, I did a sneaky evening walk-by just to check on my new solar lights. ✨ So happy to see them working!!

Decades of 'I do.' 🖤
This heavy guipure lace paired with a duchess satin is one of the most requested dress/lace combos that I get asked for in custom wedding dresses. I've been using it for decades, for unique, bespoke wedding dresses. I am so humbled when I think about the amazing collection of women all over the world who chose me and this guipure lace for the biggest day of their lives...

As a historically inspired, dark aesthetic, nature obsessed designer, this accidental colour palette landing on my window was absolutely perfect!!

A quick work in progress pic, I'm focusing on a few new prototypes while my hand is still healing!

This is based around an Edwardian frou-frou detachable collar with layers of decorative floofy tulle and lace, only I'm changing it up a bit and although it's still historically inspired, I'm twisting it into a new Idea.

I often use a Victorian inspired, decorative valance layer on dresses and I have also been using a sort of chatelaine approach to draped, jewellery-style additions, I feel that this garment could tie the two ideas together.

I can use this to add drama to a dress but, just like in the late Victorian/Edwardian era, being detachable makes it reusable and a versatile wardrobe commodity, I would love to see it with a trouser suit or dare I say - jeans!?🫣😲

So, minor re-adjustments to the schedule for the next few weeks, Thankfully all immediate orders went out before Easter and there's a lot that I can do with one hand which I've been neglecting so this is a great opportunity to crack on with that and get properly up to date!!
