Further to the post we added last week I am pleased to say the fake site seems to be taken down now - Please be very careful with all your own sites as I have been told this sort of thing is happening all the time now. It is possible to create sites within minutes using chat gpt or ai and we all need to be extra vigilant with this . Contact the domain name hosting the fake site and fill in an abuse form / screen shots and any other information you can find.
Many of these scammers are in other countries which makes it harder to trace them or threaten legal action if affected. They could in theory use your good names to extort money from customers.
Always call or email me ahead or making enquiries if at all possible and we would never ask for monies upfront unless you have seen something like a proof mock up or sample first.
