In the midst of all this heat, it does feel a little weird to be posting this winter landscape slow stitch kit. But, I only listed it last night and several have gone already. Maybe people are craving the cooler weather or maybe my clientele are just incredibly organised for the coming seasons!

Urgh, as if the heat wasn't enough, we have maddening winds on top. So this morning, I awoke to find that my carefully constructed runner bean canes had become the leaning tower of Brighton overnight. I ran outside at 7am before the full blast of the furnace took hold to save my carefully nurtured beans, noting the sadly bolted lettuces and the chewed radishes on the way 🫩. After an hour, and a few more poles I thought I'd done it, only to find, later in the day, that all my effort was in vain. Braving the heat, I went out to sort it out again only to be attacked by a horde of wasps. They have taken a liking to my fennel flowers and there was no way that I was getting anywhere near THEIR garden!
Anyway, I gave up in the end and made this new kit instead. Hope you all like it. It's available on Etsy now and I'm really looking forward to selling one or two as it looks like the dreams of self sufficiency are on hold and I'll need to visit the supermarket again after all 🤷‍♀️🤣.
