🎀⛓️ MEN DON’T NEED 2 ‘LEARN’ HOW 2 R4PE THEY’RE ALREADY DOING IT ⛓️🎀

62 million men signing up to an academy to ‘learn’ how to r4pe is a shocking statistic.

Until you factor in that almost every woman has been r4ped or SA’d multiple times in their lives. Then that number becomes a logical continuation of real lived experience. & an under-inflated figure at best.

Every so often something like this will circulate & the shock ricochets around everyone - but women have been telling you about this since the beginning of time.

Go to feminist punk shows. Listen to women. Read books. Make zines. Talk to each other.

Share your stories. Stop gaslighting yourself. Get angry. Get sad. Feel the triggers pulsing through your blood & the sickness on your skin. Sit with it. Process it. Do the work. Get cathartic.

Support survivors. Fund your local support centres. Scream about it. Find joy in everyday things. Trust your intuition. Remain vigilant. Hate the people that hurt you. Love the people that show up by your side.

Stay in bed for a week. Go to a protest. Do anything but let yourself be absorbed into a statistic.

The world isn’t going to come save us. But we can save each other in every interaction.
