It’s a good idea to keep your eyes peeled when you’re in and around a busy market, as there’s often something lying around unwanted which might be worth scavenging.

This much abused old table was headed for the skip.

A bit of a clean up and a little woodstain was all it took to transform it into two lovely new wooden shelves.

Now we have somewhere nice to display our gorgeous Irish and Portuguese woollen jumpers and our classic leather holdalls.
