SCRUNCHIES + BLACK FRIDAY
What do you call such a gorgeous collection of scrunchie goodness? A satisfaction of scrunchies? The scrunchie of dreams collection? Suggestions below! And also, isn’t the word scrunchie just amazing? If you say it loads it all goes a bit weird... ..
Anyway, introducing our new scrunchies, made from organic flax linen. They’re made from the off cuts of our linen bread bags. Honestly, the linen is so beautiful, it’s too good to waste even a single scrap of it. They’ll be up on our website soon but DM us if you simply can’t wait. ..
As is our tradition, we won’t be doing a Black Friday discount over here. I’ll try not to rant as I have done in previous years and this is absolutely not a criticism of other fellow indies who are doing it, you do you boo 😍 For us, the amount of work that goes into each piece from myself, Luis and Em does not deserve to be sold off cheaply. It would be doing ourselves a disservice. However, we are planning a discount event for loyal customers and if you genuinely love what we create but it’s just a bit beyond your means at the moment, you can DM us and we can talk 😍..
In the meantime, I leave you with the beauty that is the word scruuuunchie... and it makes me think if crunchies which is no bad thing either as I love a crunchie. Hope you’re all doing okay, as always we love to hear from you if any of this resonates (not quite as deep as I used to go in reflections on life but I’m a bit afraid that my current reflections are a bit too dark so I’m keeping it light for now 😍💕)

We can now offer gift wrap and card to go with any purchase on our website! We’ve got handprinted paper and a handprinted card that we can write for you and then send it all beautifully wrapped to your recipient. Saves you a trip to the post office and as always, postage is free!..
All you have to do is select the gift wrap option when you order on our website and add what you want us to write in your note. And we’ll do the rest. The parcels fit through most letterboxes. ..

Just baked this sourdough beauty as a prop for the photo shoot for our limited edition run of dusky pink and eggshell blue/ greyish linen bread bags. You can catch a glimpse of the gorgeous pink...
We’re not too sure which print to use on these limited edition bread bags, as they’re so limited. We were thinking of offering it so you could choose the print when you order or to have it without a print, what do you think? ..
We’re also shooting the gift wrap and card to add to the website too, ready for Christmas orders. All so very exciting! ..
And in other news, did someone say Linen Scrunchies...? Exciting prototypes to use up our linen scraps... we’ll keep you posted......

CHRISTMAS!
We are so excited to share our plans for a Christmas wrapping and posting service. When you place an order there will be an option to choose whether you want it wrapped and posted, saving you an additional trip to the post office. ..
We’ve hand printed wrapping paper and will include a hand written card. I don’t know about you but I just love the white ink on brown paper...
I’ll share a pic of the card when it’s ready and let you know when it’s up on the website but you can always DM us if you can’t wait 😀..
Hopefully we can all shop small this festive season, especially as times are so tough for us all and you can also order sooner rather than later if that helps, and specify a posting date to us. This will definitely help us manage orders too...

FOR THE LOVE OF LINEN + THANK YOU
Just received this lovely linen through the post today and am totally in love. We’re planning a limited edition of our bread bag and I adore the blush pink super soft linen. I also ordered a tiny amount of light grey with a tinge of duck egg blue. I’m not sure how many bread bags we’ll be able to get out of this but it’ll be super limited. ..
I’d love to hear what you think in the comments... the colours are different from our standard neutrals but I just couldn’t resist! ..
We’re also busy working on hand printed Christmas wrapping paper and greetings cards. I’ll share tomorrow. ..
Hope you’re all doing okay. It feels as though there’s two parallel narratives happening at the mo; finding the beauty in the most ordinary of circumstances (big breakfasts! Cold swims! Leaves! Soft linen!) and the utter sh*t show that’s going on in the world stage... weird times... CLICHES :

It’s hard to write about recovery from cancer treatment without falling into cliches and today is no exception so apologies in advance...
On this day last year I started chemo. Today was a celebration of being alive. I’ve put a few more moments of my day in stories but it has just been so lovely. Every cell zinging after a dip in the lake, having a fry up for breakfast, wearing my blue dress and spending time with some of my favourite people. I feel so grateful for every moment. ..
Normal service will resume tomorrow, we’ve been busy working on wrapping paper! Can’t wait to share but for today, just a celebration 😍💕 hope you’re all doing okay, I’m feeling slightly apprehensive about lockdown mark 2.

COLD WATER THERAPY:
After my surgery last year, I managed to get to the lake during October. I couldn’t swim far but just paddled around the ladder, the cold was a real tonic and was endorsed by my surgeon. Throughout a long winter of chemo I dreamed of getting back to the lake, it was my ultimate goal. I finally got back there in July once lockdown restrictions were eased slightly and it has been such a tonic. ..
There is something special about the combination of cold water and nature that somehow shocks my cells back to life. I’ve had such a long time with them being so battered by treatment that each ‘spark’ feels incredible. I went to a talk on Sunday and science backs it up, apparently it’s something to do with super oxygenation of the blood. Whatever it is, it feels like a real gift. So, I’ve signed up for winter dipping! So exciting and I’m sure I’ll bore you about it but it does feel like such a privilege, especially in comparison to this time last year...
So, I’m curious... do you like cold water swimming? Or is there something else that ‘sparks’ the cells in your body? I’d love to hear from you in the comments or messages 😍💕
