Jessie de Salis

Jessie de Salis Jessie de Salis is a Bristol-based print designer specialising in printing on hand-crafted fabrics. Jessie's textiles are perfect for upholstery and curtains.

You can read more about Jessie and her work on her website: jessiedesalis.com. Jessie set up her textiles company from a barn in Cornwall in 2020, where she first began screen-printing her colourful designs in the company of spiders and house-martins. After working in digital printing for several years, Jessie had decided that she wanted to prioritise quality and sustainability. She built her own

screen-printing table and exposure unit, and taught herself how to screen print on a large scale. Jessie's textiles are inspired by traditional hand-craft techniques, with every piece telling its own story. Her print designs explore myth, folklore, ancient art and local flora and fauna. She uses water-based, biodegradable and natural inks, and prints on silk, linen, organic cotton and wool. Her fabrics are sourced from sustainable and local suppliers. All her work is hand-crafted, meaning that different print runs may vary slightly. All of Jessie's work is hand-made by Jessie herself from her Bristol studio. Not all of her earlier designs are on her website, so please contact her directly for past stock or commissions.

New workshop dates released with

Over the last few years we’ve been lucky to run this workshop and meet so many wonderful people who have come to learn screen printing and sewing. It’s always something I really look forward to teaching.

Across three days you’ll design and screen print your own fabric, then sew it into a complete garment, choosing your own colours, patterns and designs.
