An Olivetti Scribe from 1950, serviced, renewed and ready to type.

The earliest version of what would become the famed Lettera 22, the Scribe had an embossed "Olivetti" on its paper plate and larger keytop legends. Frequently, they also came with wooden cases, usually with a striped brown/beige leatherette cover; however, this Scribe has a grey, wooden case with a sizeable chrome latch - quite an oddity!

It is an excellent typer, easily one of the best Scribe/Lettera 22s that I have used. In the shop now.
