From the outside, the clothes look perfectly normal.
They fit. They’re clean. They’re the right size.

But the moment you put them on, something feels unbearable.

That little scratchy tag at the back of your neck. For most people, it's mildly annoying. You cut it out and move on.

For someone with tactile sensitivity, it's not that simple. That tag can feel like sandpaper. It's a constant distraction. It can make an otherwise good day feel unbearable.

And it's completely unnecessary.

Every Sew Sensory pattern is designed tag-free from the start. No labels to remove, no leftover scratchy bits, no problem.

Honestly? Time and reach.

With a job, and a family, my making time is limited. Custom orders meant I could only help a handful of people.

By sharing my patterns, I can help many more people create sensory-friendly clothing at their own pace, in their own homes.

Twenty years of dressmaking experience, plus a background in accessibility and disability advocacy, all distilled into clear, usable patterns.

We've all felt the irritation of a scratchy tag or uncomfortable seam. But for some of us that feeling is so severe it impacts every aspect of their daily life.

Sensory-friendly clothing addresses this with:
