I love making more gothic/alternative pieces every so often, it really takes me back to being a teenager and allows me to play with ideas! I put some of my old fave bands on and cracked out the sketch book to get in the mood for this one, and both me and the client are thrilled with the results.

It's always a bonus when the reverse of a quilt is also beautiful, means you get an additional coordinating fabric to work with. The terrible pictures and video do absolutely no justice for this piece, but I am a fashion creator first and content creator second so 🤷‍♀️

Experimenting with something new- first play with a junk beanie. Liking the overall effect and the intuitive placement, although a couple of things on this one specifically aren't quite right... partially because my mannequin head is far smaller than a real head. Some lessons learned, more playing once the neon beanies arrive from vinted. I would like to use more *jewels*, but I used them all on my bag of dreams 😅
