🚨 A blister pack recycling scheme is coming to Brixham!

In collaboration with Prospect Brixham, we are bringing a new recycling scheme to the town!

We are working with the company My Group who recycle every bit of the product; foil, plastic and any residual medication waste. (I’ll pop a link to their website in the comments!)

You can find us for our first collection day on Saturday the 11th July on Fore Street (see photo here for more details).

We’d like to spread the word so if any local businesses would like to have a poster, please let us know! We hope to introduce a few drop-off points soon too, to make things a little easier and more convenient for people.

And lastly, if you’d like to support the scheme moving forward funding wise (we have to pay per box we fill and send off!) so please get in touch!

So remember folks, save those empty blister packs and spread the word! 📣

I’m still officially closed as I have another full time job. I do have a few spaces for wedding alterations and prom dresses over the next month. Please contact me via what’s app.

22/09/2024

I’m currently working out how to continue the business and to what extent, as I now have a separate full time job.

Please be patient as I no longer get direct notifications from social media (my choice).

I will continue some work for loyal polite customers, who I know will appreciate my work. I will no longer be offering a collection or delivery service.

Wedding, prom and ball gown enquiries please allow at least 3 months prior to the date and book to avoid disappointment. I love working on dresses, beading, sequins and lace and this will be the main stay of future work. If you have been pleased with something I’ve done for you a review really does help, thank you.

This last summer I had customers calling the week of the event and then being surprised that I had no availability.

I need to look after myself and my family first, so please do not be personally offended if I refuse to take on alterations.

The temporary closure sign will remain in place.

Love and Stitches

I’m closed for the summer now. I will only take in booked and pre agreed garments from the autumn. Unfortunately I’ve had far too many people turn up and leave things unlabelled and no instructions! (I doubt this will even reach them)

Thank you all and have a a great summer!

I’m back doing a few bits and pieces now. I do not alter upholstery or curtains - I have the number of someone who does.

Best days to contact me are Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. I’m currently booked up in the diary til mid June.

Join Us For Devon Day Here At Plainmoor!💛💚❤️

This Saturday’s home fixture will see members of the local football family come together, as we welcome fans from rival clubs to join us on Devon Day at Plainmoor

Supporters of local Clubs Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City have flocked to support the Gulls since the news broke that Torquay United served its intention to appoint administrators. Both Argyle and City supporters have supported with donations, with many also attending recent home games against Aveley, Dartford and Taunton.

Everyone at Torquay United would like to extend its thanks to both Clubs and their respective fanbases for their support and generosity at this difficult time. Both the Pilgrims and Grecians have experienced similar situations to the one United is currently in.

With Plymouth Argyle being on international break, and Exeter City’s fixture away at Leyton Orient also being postponed due to international call-ups on Saturday 23rd March, both sets of fans are being warmly invited to come together and help pack out Plainmoor on what has been dubbed as ‘Devon Day’. Supporters are actively being encouraged to wear their home club colours, as all three sets of supporters come together in unison for one common cause.

Everyone at Torquay United looks forward to welcoming all supporters to Devon Day, and would like to once again thank the Yellow Army, Pilgrims and Grecians for their continued support.

Tickets for this fixture can be purchased now. Tickets can be bought online now, in person at our Club Shop on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 10am-2pm, or over the phone on 01803 328666 (Monday to Friday 10am-2pm).

Supporters are encouraged to book in advance of all matchdays to save £2 per ticket, but our Matchday Ticket Office will be open from midday on Saturday 23rd for any queries or matchday ticket sales.
