I’ve had a stall at local agricultural shows this year and am now looking forward to the Hawkshead Christmas Fair 2025 where my stall will be located inside The Old School House where William Wordsworth and his family went to school. It is an incredibly interesting little building, you can even see graffiti which was carefully carved by William Wordsworth himself!!

A new design currently on my 4 shaft loom.

100% premium acrylic scarf in a vibrant petrol blue and navy. Stunning colours that really “pop”, unfortunately the photo doesn’t replicate the colours.

I’m really enjoying this design 😃

Phew! It took a while to weave and it was definitely a challenge but here it is fresh off the loom.

What an amazing weekend at the Hawkshead Christmas Fair 2024!

It didn’t escape anyone’s attention anywhere in the U.K. that we’ve had rather a brutal storm this weekend but rather than cancel this Christmas Fair the organisers came up trumps by moving everyone safely under cover!

A lot of people were extremely interested in our rare breed conservation work and my rare breed hand processed and woven fleece rugs, lap rugs and scarves and our rare breed organically tanned sheepskin rugs.

It was a busy, happy, wet and windy event but in true Cumbrian fashion, everyone had tremendous fun 🤗❤️

I am busy weaving lots of new scarves, shawls and rugs for my stall at the Hawkshead Christmas Market on the 7th & 8th December 2024.
