The Young Sewer after school groups are a real highlight of my week.
These photos only show a small fraction of what happens in the sessions.

All sessions are student lead, meaning they have free creative reign to experiment and explore.
Skills are naturally learnt on each project as I guide them on the sewing processes.
Sustainability also plays a big part with reusing and upcycling of existing garments or sourcing fabric from charity shops such as duvet covers and pillowcases.

Groups take place on
Tuesdays 4pm-5.30pm
And 2 groups on Wednesdays 3.15pm-4.45pm
And 5pm-6.30pm.

This is bookable as a 5 week block @ £55 per student.
Following the school term times.

I currently have 2 spaces for the Wednesday 3.15 group which will restart after the half term on Wednesday 3rd June.

Also in the pipeline for the autumn are sessions aimed at those taking GSCE or A level textiles. Sessions will be a focus on the fundamentals of garment construction and working with different fabrics.
If this is something your young person is considering please contact me to express your interest.

Pre Booking for groups is advised.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
