Hello followers of sounds!

Just to say that the shop will be shut from Monday 18th April to afternoon of Friday 22nd, as we need a break so me, Ro, my wife (his mum) and his nephew/nieces are going to Anglesey.

We will however be open 9am as usual for RECORD STORE DAY on Saturday 23rd.

HELLO FOLLOWERS OF SOUNDS!

2 Things:

1.Just to thank you all for your support and good wishes
2. To inform you that the latest COVID shutdown can end on 28th June.

As Ro is no longer showing symptoms, Astonishing Sounds is reopening on Monday at 10.30am.

This will just be with me at first until a second jab can be rearranged by Ro 28 days from end of quarantine according to NHS rules.

VITAL COVID 19 UPDATE

Greetings followers of Sounds

We must sadly inform you that there has been a Covid outbreak probably due to someone on record store day and Ro has tested positive.

That means we have to quarantine for 10 days starting today, and the shop will therefore have to shut from Monday to the 28th June. We will keep you posted.

Also, thanks to those who followed the guidelines but this shows how important it is that EVERYONE ALWAYS STICKS TO THE RULES and in future ALL customers MUST mask up unless (verifiably) exempt and sanitise on entry.

THIS IS FOR EVERYBODY'S BENEFIT AS WE DONT WANT TO HAVE COVID, YOU DONT AND WE DONT WANT TO SHUT BECAUSE OF IT.

The long wait is over for we reopen at 10.30 on MONDAY 12TH APRIL!

HOWEVER THE PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER SO PLEASE STILL ABIDE BY THE PRECAUTIONS WHICH ARE STILL IN FORCE:

1. Wear your mask unless exempt
2. Use hand sanitizer at the door
3. Social distance {2m} in store.

NEW YEAR OPENING: COVID UPDATE

Attention followers of Sounds.

As announced at 3pm Lancashire will be joining Greater Manchester, Blackburn et Al in TIER 4 with all that entails from 00.00 31st December (today as it goes into tomorrow)

Sadly that means Sounds as well. Another shutdown looms and we will keep you posted as to the details about reopening after new year.
