Flower bird bath made at The Galleria - Burton Latimer with the wonderful Nellie's Arts

In the usual style, I completely forgot to take a picture of the finished product before gifting it, so had to borrow one from ’s Arts

I had so much fun on this workshop and made something I’d never usually make - my family will be the first to tell you that my previous clay “masterpieces” have been comical to say the least! 🙈

We made terrazzo clocks which was really interesting - not something I’d ever made before.

Cooking counts as a craft right?!

A little different - we spent a great day at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School in London doing a Japanese cooking course. We learnt how to make Miso Soup, miso glazed aubergine (Nasu Dengaku), pork and prawn gyozas, and a ponzu dipping sauce. It was a great experience and a cool chance to try something new!

Yet another workshop at The Galleria - Burton Latimer - this time working with Felix & Reuben to create some silver jewellery inspired by nature. The process was really interesting from start to finish - we even created a mould using flowers we’d brought in from our gardens. I’d highly recommend checking this class out!

Another recent-ish make was a workshop at my favourite The Galleria - Burton Latimer making a duck out of willow - although I’ve been told numerous times, mine looks more like a goose! 🤦‍♀️ another fun activity with a great tutor!

My first post under the new name Bizzie Crafting had to be focussed on making our wedding rings! We worked with Zoë at to make our rings.

She came to our house and we spent a lovely morning creating something truly unique and personal in the months before our wedding last year.

The latest re-incarnation of Bizzie Sewing is coming soon! This time I am going to focus on my love of all things creative - I will of course still be sewing, but am hoping to incorporate some other crafts too! If you have any suggestions of crafts to try, or crafty creators to support, please let me know!
