If your cloth nappies are leaking, it can be really frustrating, but in most cases it’s an easy fix and doesn’t mean anything is “wrong” 🌿

One of the first things we usually suggest is adding a booster. Most leaks are simply down to the nappy not quite having enough absorbency for your baby’s needs.

A really good place to start is the TNL H**p Bum Booster. It’s slim, reliable, and very absorbent, so you can increase capacity without adding lots of bulk.

It’s often enough to turn a leaking nappy into a reliable one again.

If you’re getting leaks, try adding a booster first before changing your whole setup. It’s surprising how often that’s all it takes.

This time, they had requested specific types of nappies, so we carefully matched the donations we had received to what was needed most.

Together, these 4 boxes weigh over 60kg! That's a lot of nappies getting a second life and helping families who need them.

Every single nappy is individually checked before it leaves us, and thanks to the generosity of customers who cover the cost of sending donations to The Nappy Lady, we're able to send these onwards to charities completely free of charge 💛

It might sound early, but ERIC now recommends introducing the potty as soon as baby can sit up 🌿 This isn’t “potty training” it’s simply potty learning and getting them comfortable with the idea from early on.

Some families also choose Elimination Communication from birth, but even a gentle, relaxed approach can work really well 👇

🌅 Try offering the potty after naps (many babies wee on waking)
💩 Once newborn poo slows down, you may catch the odd poo which makes life easier
🚽 It helps the potty feel normal, so there’s less resistance later on
