Thankyou everyone for your lovely responses to my post about closing the shop. I just wanted to let you all know that I will still be in and out of the shop in the next couple of weeks stocktaking and clearing, so if you're passing and see me pop in 😊 I will then continue to work on curtains and soft furnishings from my workroom at home for a while. Retirement? What's that?!!! ###

So that's it then! I have just closed my shop for the last time after almost fourteen years. It's been an interesting journey and I have loved setting up and running my own business (most of it!) My huge thanks to everyone who became involved along the way - Angela who pushed me into doing this and helped me so much all the way through, Lesley, Rachel, Kirsty, Ann who all joined me in the shop selling beautiful things and helping to bring people in. We had some good times along the way. Last but definitely not least, thank you so much to all the lovely customers who took time to come in to my shop over the years and helped to keep it going. I will miss all of this but it's time for a change..........🥲🥰🥰😊

It's finally happening! NEEDLE & THREAD WILL BE CLOSING ON SATURDAY 24th MAY
The shop will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays 10:00 til 1:00 as usual til 1:00 on Saturday 24th. Come and stock up on your crafting items while you still can!🧶🧵🪡🧶😊

With very mixed feelings I can now tell everyone that Needle & Thread is CLOSING at the end of April. I will be continuing to make curtains and soft furnishings in my workroom at home. Thankyou to all those who have supported my small business for the last 13 years, it's been a huge pleasure to be able to provide a service to our lovely town and surrounding villages. I will miss meeting you all but it's time for me to make changes ###

Today I said goodbye to a very dear freind and colleague, Angela. Those of you who have been coming to Needle & Thread since I opened more than 13 years ago may remember her and her daughter Lesley who started the beading section in the shop before Rachel took it on. Angela was hugely involved in Needle & Thread becoming a reality and we then worked on lots of window treatment jobs together. Thank you Angela for being there for me, I will miss you more than you know xx
