Memory Quilts
Patchwork quilts made from your baby's clothes, blankets, sheets, grobags, wrap scraps and more! Each quilt is padded with 4oz wadding and backed with natural cotton calico. The sashed size 1 Memory Quilt (51"x 35" or 88cm x 129.5cm), which is a cotbed size, is £140 using paypal and couriered or £130 cash collected (I live in Cannock, Staffordshire). The sashed size 2 Memory Quilt (4
3" x 67" or 109cm x 170cm) which is single bed size is £175 couriered and £165 collected. I need a minimum of 20 items for size 1 and 30 for size 2. You choose the colour of the polka dot or star sashing (or a fabric of your choice which will incur an additional charge if it is more than £6.50 plus P&P per metre) and there is a wide choice available. I also offer Memory Quilts made entirely from patches of your child's clothes; there is no sashing. The size 1 measures approx 55"x 38.5" and costs £175 and the size 2 measures approx 70"x 50" and costs £230. I require approximately double the amount of clothes for these types of quilt compared to the sashed quilts but much depends on the size and type of the garments/blankets. Local drop off and collection reduces both prices by £10. A further 40% of your total is to be paid when I receive your clothes parcel in the month of your allocated slot. The balance is paid on completion of your order. Orders take approximately 8-12 weeks to complete. Memory cushions are £35 plus postage but if you order with a quilt I post them together so there is no additional charge. I don’t add in any fabrics other than the sashing and come up with the design of your quilt based purely on the fabrics and appliqués I see within the clothes �
I ask for 10% deposit on ordering and securing a slot. I then ask for the next instalment of 40% when I receive your parcel of clothes, and the balance on completion. Please send me a message if you’d like to book a slot.
