✨ Beautiful homes aren’t built with unlimited budgets. They’re built with imagination.

This bathroom started with a £50 Facebook Marketplace find: an old oak sideboard that I fell in love with for its character and proportions.

I’d always wanted a vanity that looked like a piece of furniture rather than a standard bathroom unit, so we adapted it to fit a basin and gave it a new life.

The funny thing? I later discovered it’s an Old Charm Aldeburgh sideboard by Wood Bros and they are still sold today for around £1,600.

It’s a reminder that creating a home with personality isn’t about spending the most money. Often it’s about spotting potential where others don’t.

🤍 And we’re not quite finished yet…

Next week I’ll be sharing the completed room, including the Roman blind made in one of my own fabrics.

What’s the best bargain you’ve ever found for your home?

Some rooms stay with us long after we’ve left them.✨

It’s rarely because they were perfect. Or expensive. Or filled with the latest trends.
The rooms we remember tend to feel created over the years rather than decorated. They tell a story through colour, treasured objects, books, artwork, antiques, and those little unexpected details that make us stop and look twice.

Perhaps it’s a painting that’s been passed down through generations. A flea market find. A wall of butterflies. A bold colour choice. Or simply a room that reflects the personality of the people who live there.

For me, the most memorable interiors are the ones that couldn’t belong to anyone else.🏡

What makes a room memorable to you?

There’s something I love about a fabric that adapts so effortlessly to different schemes and moods, depending on what you pair it with. ✨

Here, the same Zola Stripe fabric in Landscape takes on three completely different personalities:

💙 Paired with Lulu in Palace Blue, it feels soft, classic and quietly elegant.

💚 With El Cocodrilo in Grass, it suddenly becomes playful, bold and full of energy.

🩵 Alongside Victorian Tale in Powder Blue, it turns romantic and nostalgic, with a gentle, timeless charm.

It’s a lovely reminder that you don’t always need to start from scratch. One trusted fabric can become the thread that ties a scheme together, while different wallpapers create entirely new moods and stories.

I photographed these combinations in the morning sunlight, letting the shifting light and soft shadows dance across the patterns. It’s one of my favourite ways to view colours—because interiors rarely exist under perfectly even lighting. Seeing how they change throughout the day is part of the magic.

So tell me… which pairing is your favourite? 👇

1️⃣ Zola Stripe + Lulu in Palace Blue
2️⃣ Zola Stripe + El Cocodrilo in Grass
3️⃣ Zola Stripe + Victorian Tale in Powder Blue

I’d love to know which one you’d choose for your own home.💚

I absolutely love seeing how designers bring my patterns to life, and this space is such a beautiful example. ✨

The combination of Summer Rose and Indian Summer in the Kiss Me colourway creates such a lovely sense of harmony—coordinating without feeling overly matched. The wallpaper, bolster cushion, and larger pillows work together so effortlessly, adding layers of pattern and colour while keeping the room feeling calm and inviting.

Thank you to the talented team for incorporating my designs so thoughtfully into this gorgeous window seat. It looks like the perfect spot to curl up with a good book and enjoy the view. 📖💕

Summer is calling… 🌸🌿💗

One of my favourite things about designing a collection is seeing how different patterns can work together when they share a colour story. The first image shows how we can recolour our designs to match perfectly – taking the soft pinks and fresh greens of Zola Stripe and applying them to Lulu and Naya to create a beautifully coordinated scheme.

And the best part? If you’ve fallen in love with one of my designs but wish it came in a different colourway, we can often make that happen. Many of our patterns can be recoloured to complement an existing fabric, wallpaper, room scheme, or even a favourite paint colour.

Whether you’re dreaming of soft summer pinks, fresh leafy greens, warm ochres, or something entirely your own, bespoke colour matching can help create a scheme that feels completely personal.

The photographs here show the original floral colourways alongside some of the possibilities for custom recolouring — perfect for creating layered interiors that feel collected, cohesive, and unique.

Would you choose the soft blush pinks or the fresh green version? 🌿💗

A few moments from the studio…

Fabric being cut, ideas being tested, samples taking shape and plans slowly becoming reality.

The creative process rarely looks neat but that’s often where the magic happens.

Quietly working away behind the scenes on a mixture of projects, with plenty more to share soon.

I hope you are having a creative and exciting week too!

📣A private post…

I have been renovating my powder room and I can’t decide which option to choose? Can you please help🙏🏻

I love both for different reasons but unfortunately I have to pick just one. Both are identical except for the mirrors. What do you think, which one shall I go for 1 or 2? 🪞🪩

Thank you so much my friends 🙏🏻

Sorry for the radio silence… I’m still not quite 100% after Covid, so everything has been a little slower and quieter than usual.😫

I’ve been gently working away in the background — spending time in the studio and also pouring my energy into our downstairs powder room. It’s such a tiny space, but somehow that makes it even more considered. Every centimetre matters, every line, every material… I want to get it just right.

🛠️Sharing a few glimpses here — some sampling in progress, early bathroom plans, and material choices I’ve been playing with. It’s all coming together slowly, but thoughtfully.

What have you been up to lately? 🤍
