You may have noticed that this time of year my account usually goes quiet. I'm not the best at keeping on top of socials as it is but it's extra difficult during the winter months.

I'm a summer person through and through and I hate the winter.

For the first few years of my business I'd struggle to be productive and to kick off new year 'the right way'. I've come to accept that for the fiest few months of the year my energy needs to be spent on surviving.

So.. That's why you don't hear from me as much this time of year.

That said I do have some cool bags, upcycled scrunchies and more available!

Sustainability is at the centre of everything I do at Bombus and part of that is always pushing myself to be better.

What got achieved in 2025?

✅️ No intentional use of AI
✅️ Increase traceability across all products
✅️Have multiple zero waste designs for bags
✅️Produce 'scrap packs' and fat quarters for sale to ensure that fabric stocks are being utilised
✅️ Free repair service for those in need

What goals didn't I reach and need to focus on in 2026?

❌️ Start producing more size & gender inclusive clothing
❌️ Release upcycled, affordable clothing suitable for non-binary folks
❌️ Work with marginalised communities for modelling opportunities

2026 will be the year I get Bombus clothing really going, I'm determined.
