Inspired by the Black Panther Party, this design embodies power, resilience, and the fight for freedom. The bold, glossy fabric reflects the Panthers’ unyielding spirit and their commitment to protecting and empowering Black communities.

Since every month is black history month for me I’m honoring those who refused to be silenced and paved the way for change.

Afrofuturism is close to my heart as someone of Zambian descent. It’s a way for me to embrace my roots and reimagine African culture beyond the lens of colonialism, bold, unapologetic, and full of possibility. Through designs like this, I get to honor my heritage while creating a future where our stories lead the narrative.

And just like that… we’re back!! 💫✨ It’s been a journey and a half, and I can’t wait to take you all through it!

Let’s start at the very beginning. This was the first outfit I ever made in my first year of university. I explored Afrofuturism and fell in love with this stunning kente cloth 😍. Looking back, I see how much I’ve grown, but this piece will always have a special place in my heart.

I dunno how I made this in less than 24 hours🥴 the stress I went through 💀I dunno if it’s just me but I feel like as a designer when I envision or design something I wanted it to come out exactly the way I want or I’ll be stressed tf out😅 is it just me?????
