‘CHARA’、Panama visor hat with scattered bows and peek-a-boo pearls
From SS25 collection.

This is one of my award-winning hats from last year’s　’ International Panama Hat Contest’, organised by Ecua-Andino Hats

Panama is a traditional Men’s hat material; I wanted to create the hat with feminine appeal. Also, cutting it open and making it a visor shape creates a combination of a classic yet sporty feel.

Collection entitled ‘Toile de Joie’, Misa Harada brings her happy summer memories, looking into the past and future to celebrate the joy of life.

Misa’s brand DNA lies deep in her admiration for the 50s auto-couture and the work of designers such as Christoph Balenciaga and Christian Dior. Misa wanted to juxtapose these couture elements with modern headwear, such as sun visors and baseball caps.
