Don't forget changes to your designs can still take place following submission of tech packs to a factory, as seen between these technical flats and my client's final product.

This is still the early phase of development.

Whether your budget leads to negotiations due to fabric availability, alternative decoration or trims; or you simply see your vision in real life and choose to amend a pocket placement, hem length or design detail - it's all part of the process.

Tech packs are working documents and should be updated throughout to reflect the evolution of your product and ensure communication remains clear.

I’m Alexandra (she/her) and I wear many hats: Fashion Entrepreneur, Designer, Pattern Cutter and Creative Consultant.

When I’m not endlessly launching fashion brands for my clients, you’ll find me running my sustainable business model and affordable fashion membership over at Digital Pattern Library

I graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in fashion before being plunged into the dark depths of the industry and I saw and experienced things I. Did. Not. Like.

It was hard, emotionally draining and really had me questioning if I was doing the right thing with my life, participating in such a damaging industry.

So I left.

Since doing so, I’ve carved my own path into the fashion landscape with morals, ethics and sustainability at the forefront of my endeavours.

It’s been a pretty incredible journey which is why I know you are capable of doing the same.
