If the past year carried a gentle darkness, this one will hopefully begin with light.

This beaded corset feels like breath of fresh air, an invitation back into the bold, imaginative work I’ve been longing to return to. In its brightness lives a quiet clarity, a reminder that creativity can rise again with renewed intention.

I’m stepping into the new year with a softer heart and a steadier hand, dreaming bigger and following the spark toward luminous possibilities waiting to be stitched.

2025 Top Nine!

I always find it interesting to look back at what resonated most on social media over the year.

This one was about gently dusting off the cobwebs and finding my fire for creation again after a long pause. There was months of creative stagnation, doubts, and moments when I wasn’t sure what to do next, but deep down, I knew this is what I love most, so I had to keep pushing through.

After so long away, I felt lost on what to share here and worried I’d be shouting into the void. So I thought I would revisit past client work and my favourite pieces, letting them remind me why I fell in love with this craft in the first place. And it means so much that some of my most indulgent, time-consuming creations became your favourites too.

Here’s to keeping the spark alive and moving forward with some exciting projects… once I get out of my own way!

This year asked for a quieter kind of creativity.

I found myself missing the thrill of crafting the dramatic, over-the-top pieces that first made me fall in love with this work, yet looking back, the slower moments held their own quiet beauty.

This dark beaded corset feels like a reflection of that season, intricate, patient and shaped by small accomplishments that mattered more than I expected.

As the year closes, I’m leaving with a deeper appreciation for the beauty that grows slowly, and the reminder that every stitch, no matter how small, moves the story forward.

I love crafting robes that feel effervescent and fluid, and Zephyr is the truest reflection of that. Its blend of sheer chiffon and sleek satin creates a softness that stirs with the lightest breath of air, an elegance alive with quiet beauty.

When Cassie searched for pieces to loan for her bo***ir shoot, I knew Zephyr was meant for her. She felt it too, so much that she asked to make it her own. Seeing it find a home with someone as warm and luminous as she is felt like the sweetest kind of fate.

Cassie has an exquisite eye for detail and this shoot reflects the pieces she chose for her day with quiet, luminous beauty.

It was a privilege to create not only her wedding corset, but also a playsuit and robe for her reception. Both drew from designs I’ve made before, yet followed her own sense of style with a softness that felt entirely hers.

The playsuit offered a beautiful piece to slip into as the evening unfolded, with a touch more coverage for effortless movement. The robe, crafted in star-strewn embellished tulle, carried the same celestial elegance woven into her bridal look.

This corset explores a technique built on controlled fluidity. Dramatic draping sweeps across the body, with iridescent crystal shards, both smooth and frosted, gemstone fragments, and hand-painted lace tucked deep into the folds, as though frost is actively growing across the fabric.

By layering structure beneath softness, the piece becomes an interplay of elegance and opulence, where every pleat catches a secret glimmer, crystallizing the moment it touches light.

This corset began with pure movement, first draped on a mannequin, then refined directly on the body, allowing gravity and gesture to guide each fold. I shaped the fabric as though I was sculpting a current of water, letting the form reveal where it wanted to fall.

The embellishment was placed last, nestled into the draping as though crystallizing in real time, showing peeks of glimmer.

It was a process of listening to the materials and letting using my instincts dictate where every elements would settle for a balanced organic effect

This piece has lived many lives through countless photoshoots, each one revealing a different facet of its character.

The draping catches light in new ways every time, sometimes fluid and ethereal, sometimes sharp and glacial. Its mood shifting with each setting, yet the corset remains timeless, holding the same quiet magic it had the day it was made.

Watching it evolve through imagery has been a reminder that some designs don’t age, they simply gather stories.

This corset was made at beginning of my journey, when I was starting to understand how profoundly the language of corsetry spoke to me as a maker.

I was captivated by the balance between sleek, architectural lines and lavish, meticulously crafted detail, a contrast that continues to shape my aesthetic.

In creating this piece I learned how structure can wrap around the body and how embellishment can speak softly while still holding its brilliance.

Inspired by fractal ice, this corset maps delicate geometric lines across the body, softened by frost-like textures that evoke the poetry of winter’s touch.

Designed to feel weightless, it is crafted from a single layer of cotton sateen, creating an airy, luminous silhouette. Hand-painted French Chantilly lace drifts across the surface, while gemstones and crystal shards catch the light like frozen blooms.

Part of a bridal trousseau, this piece served as an intimate treasure designed to feel both ethereal and quietly decadent, where romantic fantasy meets meticulous craftsmanship.

This was one of my first corsets, and of course I didn’t begin with something simple!

Ten years ago, for my final major project at university, I collaborated with , whose distinctive techniques shaped the whole collection.

I knew I had to include a corset made with her refined lapped-seam method: two layers of fabric folding over and under itself - which was achieved with specialised attachment on a twin-needle machine - to create clean, sculptural seams that doubled as boning channels. The result was a piece that felt exceptionally light and impeccably finished, inside and out.

It was demanding to learn, but as a budding maker, I was proud of how far it pushed me! I’d love to revive those skills someday.
