My friend never gives me much advance warning but we always manage to get it done!
Last minute dress required for a wedding and roughly 1 hour availability for consultation & fitting!😂…..good job I know you well .mccormick
I have had my eye on this soft printed organza for a while & knew it would make up beautifully. Double lined with dusty pink bamboo fabric that has the softest drape and ‘Voila’ wedding guest ready💕

I was just waiting for the right project for these fabulous motifs & they found their place on this Mother of the Bride dress from last August.

I matched the mauve shade in the embroidery with beautiful mauve jacquard fabric & played around with the placement of the motifs, cutting pieces off, repositioning etc until I was happy with the overall look then began the process of hand stitching everything in place.
Never be afraid of colour! 💛🌼🪻

Grandmother of the Bride in sky blue crepe with pintuck details, cuff and collar made using reverse satin side of the fabric.
Lace used to create front placket and cuff details then finished with small pearl buttons.
I added a little connection between Granny & Granddaughter’s outfits by using the same small lace trim from the Brides neckline on collar and back yoke.
Bespoke fabric belt from .uk

Pretty sure this Mother of the Bride loved her outfit💗🌸mccormick you wore it well x

Pink duchess satin fully b***d bodice overlaid with pink glitter tulle and a layer of plain tulle to prevent irritation from the glitter.
Full circular skirt overlaid with two layers of tulle and finished with a bespoke fabric belt made with dress fabrics by .uk

As a little something extra I took the liberty to make a coordinating jacket using the pink satin & layering it with beautiful French leavers lace which I then hand embellished with hundreds of mixed size, shape and shades of pink fabric flowers and tiny beads, pink pearls and Swarovski crystals🪡

Wedding gown to Christening robe✂️🪡
Emma brought her dress to me her only request was to retain the back button detail.
I dismantled the entire gown, resized the skirt panels, added lace trimmings & used the chiffon from the sleeves to trim the waistline & add texture to miniature sleeves.

Same dress, roughly 20 years apart😃
My client asked if I could use the flower-girl dress she wore when 4yrs old, for her beautiful little flower-girl at her wedding in October past.
Well….. the 2nd image shows what was involved✂️🪡
I unpicked the entire dress, resized the bodice and skirt layers, replaced all missing beadwork, cut new sleeves and made a new bow adding bow tails and a pearl beaded knot.
VOILÀ❤️ same but enhanced!
